Simple Stings is rebellious. It's about more than just being a bystander or witness to the world. It is about interjecting. We're called to action more than we may realize, especially in the modern world where our attention-span is a new type of currency. Algorithms, ideologies, and industries are taking advantage of it and it's increasingly demanding to stand out in all of the noise.
Anyway, I've grown to truly appreciate those who have been in my life in the past; we brought ideas to life in mutual spirit and grew as creators in the world, and hopefully learn something about ourselves further down the road. Relationships are always about collaboration. Much, if not most of what we learn in life is about our understanding for one another that lets us help each other grow; should we grow alongside one other -is always a gift. For that, I express gratitude.
A large part of the Simple Stings philosophy has to do with leaving an impression on the world around us. Naturally - It could be the kind of sting you might think of as the insect-sort of shock to the conscious mind that sets off our nervous system.
I like to think of it as more of a phrase in musical orchestration that syncs us all together in the same room. (Think: "Dun dun Duuuun") In essence, we commune to the experience as a collective. Either way you look at it, it's about our waking life fixing to impress upon us the true nature of who we are, whether that is through nature, or technology. Our community needs to rock the boat, kick tires, and start fires. Nature is ever-changing, and so, we too should be with impact and prompt turn-arounds.
That's where Simple Stings comes in.
